Leopard and their spots

I finally get the meaning of this phrase, " a leopard never changes its spots". That's because they are born that way, but in relations to us human beings, the meaning is there but we are not born that way. We made ourselves that way. I really loathe these kind of people because they will never learn even through the hard way.

When I was young, I never once forget how my parents taught me. If I am in the wrong, I will either get a scolding or canning from my mom or dad. Why? Because this is how they think it is right to teach their kids. Without authority, they will climb over your head and sit on it, thinking that its their stool. Well, same to the adults. When you are wrong, you learn and don't make the same mistakes. However, there are times where we are careless, but we still learn how to apologize and say this 5 letter word, S-O-R-R-Y and learn to not make the same mistakes again. But that depends on how serious each mistake is seen to right?

If I made a tiny mistake of dropping food onto the floor when I am walking to the sink, I'd most probably make the same mistake again. But what if I made a big mistake that has caused a great impact to my family members and that impact, is not something young kids and teenagers like my age can take it?

I know that it takes time to heal those impacts made and to do that is to learn to change or not make that same mistake again right? But why must there be people who would repeat and repeat and repeat that same old damn mistake and not see that they are wrong?

Hope, thats something we always want to have in life. But when we hope too much, we get a bigger disappointment. I know that in life, we should not give up too easily, but there are some who will bound to crash that hope in you, that teeny weeny bit of hope..
I hate having to 'BUT' all the time. Still, a leopard never changes it spots because they are made that way. We are not leopards and will never be like them.
